2. Description of Service

HelprPass provides:

  • A marketplace connecting homeowners with service providers
  • Payment processing through Stripe
  • Service scheduling and management tools
  • Google Calendar integration for appointment synchronization
  • SMS and email notifications for service updates
  • Review and rating system
  • HelprPass membership program with exclusive benefits

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account

Account Types

  • Homeowners: Request services and manage properties
  • Service Providers: Offer services and manage business profiles
  • HelprPass Members: Access exclusive pricing and enhanced rewards

4. Service Provider Terms

Service providers must:

  • Provide accurate business information and licensing
  • Maintain appropriate insurance and bonding
  • Deliver services as described and agreed upon
  • Respond to service requests within specified timeframes
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Payment Terms

Payment Processing

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Payment is authorized when service is requested
  • Funds are released to service providers upon service completion
  • Refunds are handled according to our refund policy

HelprPass Membership

  • Annual membership fee of $10.00
  • Provides exclusive pricing and enhanced rewards
  • Auto-renewal can be cancelled at any time

Service Fees

  • HelprPass charges transaction fees to service providers
  • Pricing displayed to customers includes all applicable fees

6. Google Calendar Integration

By connecting Google Calendar, you agree that:

  • HelprPass may create and modify calendar events for confirmed appointments
  • You grant necessary permissions for calendar synchronization
  • You can disconnect the integration at any time
  • Calendar data is used solely for appointment management

7. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Attempt to circumvent payment systems
  • Interfere with the operation of the platform
  • Use automated systems to access the service without permission
  • Abuse SMS or email communication features

8. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS messages from HelprPass, including:

  • Transactional messages related to your service requests
  • Account verification and security notifications
  • Promotional messages (only if you opt-in)

SMS Terms

  • Message and data rates may apply
  • You can opt-out of promotional messages by replying "STOP"
  • Reply "HELP" for support information
  • Transactional messages cannot be opted out of while using the service
  • Your phone number is kept private and never shared with service providers

9. Intellectual Property

HelprPass retains ownership of:

  • The platform, software, and technology
  • Trademarks, logos, and branding
  • Aggregated and anonymized data

Users retain ownership of their content and property information.

11. Service Availability

  • We strive to maintain service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced when possible

HelprPass is a platform connecting users with service providers. We are not responsible for:

  • The quality or outcome of services performed
  • Disputes between users and service providers
  • Property damage or personal injury
  • Service provider licensing or insurance adequacy

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

13. Dispute Resolution

  • We encourage users to resolve disputes directly when possible
  • HelprPass may assist in dispute resolution but is not obligated to do so
  • Serious disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration

14. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement:

  • Users may delete their accounts at any time
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for terms violations
  • Termination does not affect completed transactions

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms periodically. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notification.
